Tom McQueen
Founder, CEO
Tom’s journey in design and construction started young, building and fixing things around the house and for neighbors. Creating practical, beautiful things for people always felt natural.
That early curiosity turned into a lifelong career in remodeling and construction—more than 44 years later, he’s still doing what he loves.
Tom’s greatest joy is helping clients uncover the hidden potential in their homes and then seeing those ideas come to life. Watching a tired, awkward space turn into a clean, functional, beautiful room never gets old, especially when clients see their project in 3D CAD for the first time.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance, along with a California General Contractor’s License and all associated certifications and insurances.
Known for his meticulous attention to detail, he jokes about having “a bit of OCD.” Crooked outlet covers, misaligned screws, out-of-level cabinets, or sloppy trim drive him crazy—in a good way. He wants every line straight, every detail complete, every element intentional.
Most of all, Tom loves seeing the joy and relief on clients’ faces when they walk into a finished kitchen or bath that finally works beautifully for them and their families.
Andrea Nagel
Designer
Andrea brings nearly 15 years of experience in kitchen and bath design and a genuine curiosity about how people live in their homes.
Her work goes beyond picking pretty finishes. Over the years, she’s designed everything from full remodels to smaller updates, always focusing on how a space will function day-to-day. Andrea is known for listening closely, asking smart questions, and then pulling everything together in a way that doesn’t feel like a “cookie-cutter” showroom install. Each project is tailored to the client—not just the room.
Andrea holds an Associate of Arts degree with a specialty in Interior Design. She’s also an SSI-certified scuba diver and First Aid/CPR/AED certified.
A California native raised in the East Bay, Andrea has deep roots in the area she designs for. Outside of work, she enjoys time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, and the occasional hobby-baking project.
Her favorite part of the process is helping clients feel truly at home in their homes—creating spaces that support, inspire, and reflect them. Her personal style blends natural elements and eclectic influences, but she’s always designing for real life, adapting to changing tastes, lifestyles, and treasured possessions.
