KDC Kitchen & Bath Gallery completed this bathroom remodel in a historic home on Alameda Diablo, in the Diablo Country Club neighborhood of Danville, CA. The vanity is finished in a rich plum-aubergine paint, paired with a dramatic slab of white stone veined in deep burgundy and charcoal — carried up as a full-height backsplash and continued underfoot in matching large-format flooring, so the stone reads as one continuous, book-matched surface throughout the room.

Warm brass fixtures tie the space together: a widespread gooseneck faucet with cross handles at the vanity, a sculptural curled brass towel/tissue holder, and brass bar pulls and ringed knobs on the cabinetry. A freestanding oval soaking tub anchors the room, fitted with a matching brass deck-mounted filler. Above the vanity, a black-framed oval mirror is flanked by a pair of sculptural multi-tier glass sconces with clustered frosted globes, adding a soft, layered glow.

The result is a bold, jewel-toned bath that respects the character of an older Diablo home while giving it a fully updated, high-end finish.
